FATSILC AGM and Forum 2009 We invite you to join us for the FATSILC AGM and National Indigenous Languages Forum 2009 “From Little Things, Big Things Grow” is the theme for the 2009 FATSILC National Indigenous Languages Forum, to be held in Devonport, TAS, from the 28th to the 29th of November 2009.
This year the Federation of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Languages & Culture (FATSILC) AGM and Indigenous Languages Forum will be held at the Devonport Entertainment & Convention Centre, 145-151 Rooke Street, Devonport TAS 7310.
Our theme “From Little Things, Big Things Grow” will form the basis for discussion. Harvesting from many seeds as our language communities grow. This years forum will focus on this theme and provides and opportunity for communities to share their vision, and to work to progress community aspirations for language.
FATSILC invites the Indigenous language communities and relevant to present, share and engage in discussion through workshops, presentations, and posters.
FATSILC is seeking proposals for presentations related to "our theme” across the many areas languages is shared: Education, Training & Technology, Community, Higher Education and Government.

Presentations by indigenous community or co-presenting with a non-indigenous presenter will be considered. Selection of presentations will be final. All successful presenters will be notified within 7 days.
