FATSIL chairperson Elizabeth Smith will give a presentation at the National Languages and Literacy Institute Language Expo '96, during a seminar on Issues in Indigenous Languages.

During the Nagi Binanga - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Adult Literacy Conference which runs over Saturday and Sunday of the Expo, Vice Chairperson Eve Fesl will speak on Local Government, and Literacy, Language and Racism.

Speakers at this conference have been drawn from learning centres across the country and promise to provide a stimulating overview of issues related.to the headlined topic,

The seminars are a feature of the Expo programme. They cover a broad range of topics including Careers, Languages in Business, Technology, The Internet and Distance Teaching.

The '96 NLLIA Expo is being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 19th to the 21st July.
