Broome hosts State language conference. PDF Print E-mail
The Western Australia State Language Conference is being held in Broome from 28th April to 1st May. Matters to be addressed include a request by the State Health Department for assistance in developing an assessment process for Aboriginal Health Workers, to determine their level of language proficiency when employed in fields requiring multi-lingual skills.

The 4 day conference will feature workshops on the use of Multi-Media, Braacs, language interpretation, web-page organisation, oral history projects and a range of other topics.
