NIMAA packs message to international media PDF Print E-mail

FATSIL was one of eight indigenous organisations whose promotional material was given out to media at the Sydney Olympics, in bags prepared and distributed by NIMAA (National Indigenous Media Association of Australia.)

A selection of products and publications from the invited national organisations were distributed to all media desks within the Main Press Centre in the Olympic Village, and were also handed out at the Sydney Media Centre.

More bags were available at the Tent Embassy in Canberra and were given to international journalists who visited.

As a result, the NIMAA Olympic Bureau was kept busy with enquiries from the likes of CNN, NewYork Times, the Sunday Post UK and Jiji Press Japan.

Great work NIMAA!
